Who Needs to Take the One-Hour Safety Training?
Mandatory for:
- Workers on Major Building Construction Sites: Any construction worker working on major building projects that require a site safety plan.
- Supervisors and Foremen: Individuals responsible for overseeing construction activities and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Selected Training Requirements: The one-hour safety training is part of the comprehensive Site Safety Training (SST) program. It is designed to cover specific safety topics relevant to Chapter 33 of the NYC Construction Codes.
Course Content
The one-hour training may include, but is not limited to, the following topics:
- Site Safety Plans: Understanding the components and requirements of a site safety plan.
- Hazard Communication: Proper communication of potential hazards on the construction site.
